Dear visitor,

Welcome to my website! I am a scholar of Slavery and Religion, especially Christianity. After studying theology, ancient history, philosophy and international relations, I obtained my PhD degree at Tilburg University with a study on slavery in Early Christian and Early Rabbinic parables. I continued my academic career as a postdoctoral researcher at the Protestant Theological University (PThU), within the NWO-research project “Church and Slavery in the Dutch Empire: History, Theology and Heritage” (see www.kerkenslavernij.nl).
